Mascaró black suede & elastic cross strap stiletto sandals, EU41, NWT

Mascaró is a 100 year old family business based on the Mediterranean island of Menorca, employing about 60 craftsmen & women to hand-finish their full range of shoes. Aside from the fact that I would love to retire in a place like Menorca (it's next to Ibiza, lots of beaches but much more chill), I like the idea of supporting the small, circular economy of an island community. And they make beautiful shoes, bonus. This gorgeous pair of evening sandals is just slightly loose on me; although they fit quite well lengthwise, I think these would be better suited to a size 10 foot. The modest 1" platform means that the heel height is quite comfortable for walking and standing - they perfectly straddle that fine line between style and comfort. Marked EU41, they fit larger than the average Spanish-made shoes, so I'd suggest these for the average to wider size 10 feet, possibly even 10.5. The actual footbed measurement is 10.5"; with open toed sandals I generally try to match my foot to the footbed size fairly closely, otherwise I end up looking like I'm playing dress-up in my mom's shoes. Not that my mom would have worn shoes like this...
