I have this shirt in our second bedroom closet. Our 4 yr old granddaughter is sleeping over so I can’t get in there until tomorrow to measure width. My guess is it’s 25-26”wide the same as my other Tommy Bahama XXL shirts. Just confirming your husband needs a min of 28”w but are you talking about middle of shirt with or Armpit to armpit (bottom of sleeve). These shirts run big so I’m no longer an XXL and fit into XL in TBahama brand.

would still like pit to pit measurement on you TB shirts. I measured several of his TB shirts and XXL range 27 to 30. He has always drycleaned his silk and linen shirts.
His Westeren Cinch and Ariat same size.
