From 1987, vintage painted preening Snow Goose Decoy / home decor piece. The dimensions are approx 15-15.5" long x 8" wide. Product tags from other models indicate these were fashioned of composite resin and ground nut shells. However, this model does not seem heavy enough to be resin, so I'm leaning toward some type of wood. It is in excellent condition for the age; there are no splits, gouges, or repairs noted. The paint is cream with the beak being a rust brown color. The piece was not sanded smooth prior to painting, so there are some small depressions in the surface at intervals, but it was mfd this way. It weighs approx 3 lbs, so it will push the 5 lb limit on flat rate shipping.
