Vintage Signed Mexico Sterling Silver & Abalone Inset Brooch or Pendant

This stunning vintage Mexico pendant or brooch features rainbow-hued iridescent abalone shell inlaid against a black stone (likely onyx) and sterling silver setting. The setting has an etched floral motif which is continued around the perimeter of the circle. It has a pin with safety closure as well as a loop so it can be slipped on a chain or cord and worn as a necklace. The diameter is about 1 1/2 inches The weight is 8.6 grams Pin with safety closure and pendant loop Several hallmarks including Guadalajara, Mex 925, RMP and the Mexican Eagle silver assay mark In very good pre-owned condition. The inlay is in excellent shape and the pin closure works fine. There is some tarnish (as expected on a vintage piece) that can be removed at the discretion of the owner
