Vintage Silk & Lace Dress

1958-1960 plissé silk and platinum lace special event dress. I had this beauty in my collection for over 20 years. Considering its age, the dress is in great condition and can shine again a few more times. Its finely pleated silk fabric is in aquamarine color. Gorgeous contrast lace compliments the dress and is in immaculate condition. The cherry on top is lovely bow sash in light blue, which color best shown on 9th photo. The quality of sewing is always impressive in vintage garments compared to modern mass-produced and this dress is not an exception to that. The dress fits like small size today. Shown on size 6 dress form. Chest side to side is 18.5” Waist side to side is 14.5” Length is 38” There is a spot on one sleeve and also scraped area above it, please see last 2 photos.
