Antique Jabel Diamond Engagement Ring set in Platinum Gold

Gorgeous vintage engagement/ anything ring. Belonged to my grandmother. This ring must have been very early product of the Jabel company. In early 1900's. J.J. Ableson believed that he could engineer better dies that would eliminate excessive solder points and focus on solid versus hollow jewelry. The improved quality was a hit with jewelry stores who appreciated having their store known for better quality jewelry. These pieces are coveted by collectors and jewelry lovers alike.The diamond is set in Platinum... platinum rings are usually 95% pure platinum, while 14k gold is only 58.5% gold, also, both metals are durable, but platinum is considered stronger than 18k gold. High quality all around. Check photo for size. I don't have a ring chart but this is for a smaller size hand. Delicate floral filagree down the sides. Quite a range of pricing for Jabel but this is one of the prettiest I've seen. I have lowered the price as I did more research and compared Jabel rings. The diamond is not as large as some but it is quite unique and gorgeous and very old but now I have priced it in the middle range. It was priced at the higher end. I did have a jeweler look at it and was told it is " old mine cut" diamond.
