The enclosure is a pin and barrel style (although the barrel is not actually a barrel, it's a rectangle). For extra security, it also has a side clasp. This piece is sterling silver with the 925 stamp, indicating high quality and long lasting silver. C O N D I T I O N: very good vintage condition! one small macasite stone is missing on the very last element right next to the enclosure, it is not noticeable nor would it be seen since it is at the nape of the neck.
