60s Big E Vintage Levi's Denim Jacket Type 3 Jean Trucker 70505 USA Small 36 38

Vintage Levi's Type III blue jean jacket 70505 with Big E red tab. 60s 70s era, made between 1968 - 1971. Button stamp 525. Neck tag is missing, so original size is unknown. This jacket measures a 38 in the chest. It can button up on a 36 inch chest, as a slim fit retro look. There are no hand pockets on these early models. V-shaped seams accentuate the taper to the waist in classic trucker jacket style. 100% cotton rigid denim. You can still see the original dark indigo color underneath the waist tabs. Pit to pit 19" Shoulders 17.5" Center back length 22.25" This item displays true vintage character which includes fade, stain and fray. The collar area has heavy fade, with patina and several points of fray. There is a fist-sized coffee-like stain on the left back, pointed out in photos and visible in video. There is a blue ink stain inside a chest pocket that is not visible on the outside. A weaving defect is above the left rear waist, now that's character! The red tab is frayed, only "LEV" is visible. There are numerous instances of broken and worn away stitches, mainly located along the waistband, cuffs and sleeves. This has led to several short seam openings; examples shown in the last photo. There are more spots than pictured that are starting to open along the sleeves and waistband, but overall the jacket is still "together". No holes.
