deniseharb @toddik87 hi Todd. All I know when I bought this ring over 10 years ago it was sold as a natural Indian Ruby stabilized Ruby it is faceted and an opaque stone very pretty so I would say the answer is yes

deniseharb @toddik87 no bother I enjoy your questions. The stone is domed on top which is faceted so I think it is thick it’s not a thin slice hope that helps if you look at pics you can see how it stands out of the bezel setting
