nora563 @pishposhposh808 im a little hesitant about the about the verification process. I received something that said buyer already paid for the item and shipping and that I had to go to another account click the link and and put my card information in to verify but I never received a notification of a sale. is that actually part of the process or a scam? this my first day on the app.

pishposhposh808 @nora563 Ugh, sounds like a scam. I'm so sorry this is happening on your first day. 🤪 Good thing you're realizing it's a red flag. When an item in your closet sells, there will be a little sold sign on the item & you won't need to follow any links. You'll just simply go to your My Sales section and you can either print out the label or get a QR code and have it scanned at the post office.

pishposhposh808 @nora563 If you did indeed enter your card info, I'd suggest calling your bank or cc company. Another scam that is pretty common is a message saying something along the lines of... I want to purchase this for so and so, but I can't see the pics well. Please em🎄il me additional pics and then they'll give an em🎄il address. You'll never need to leave this site/app for a sale. 😉👍

Btw, if you entered your cc #, exp date, and the 3 digit code on the back of your card, I'd definitely call your bank or cc company and cancel your card. When my mom opened her Posh account, she was getting the same spam stuff as well. 🥹 I truly hope you're able to enjoy Poshmark! Just be aware. There are tons of amazing people/items on this platform. 🌺
