Ladies 1940’s era train case, made by Samsonite | Shwayder Brothers possibly. I could not find a brand tag on this. It has nice hand stitching around the edges. Very nice condition with light wear commiserate with age. Right latch isn’t as tight as when it was original (won’t catch.) Both latches show wear. Musty perfume type scent inside but it’s not overpowering (to me.) Monogram in what looks like brass. Another one of my favorite things I’m passing along during renovations. Hopefully someone else will give this beauty a new home and life! 13” wide x 8” tall x 7.5” depth. Measurements are approximate. ** Slides #8 #9 show similar ones selling elsewhere.
