Vintage HAMILTON men's tonneau-style watch with used brown, genuine leather band. Engraved on watch, U.S. PAT. # 2467062 S&W, 10K Gold Filled. Guessing it's probably from the 40's. It comes as pictured; sold AS IS. Please look closely at photos & description before bidding. This watch winds, sets and runs each time, but I have not checked it for accuracy....only for about an hour. There is no guarantee that this watch will keep time accurately & that it has no issues. It has been stored away in my jewelry box since my 58 yr old son was a small boy. It has wear (fine marks/scuffs) on the case & the crystal is scratched, but not cracked. I looked at it with my loupe. It has a really pretty dial, which needs cleaning, but which lends a certain amount of charm & character. It certainly could benefit from a cleaning & servicing. It is original except for the used, but very nice, brown, crocodile-grain, genuine leather strap. Strap is stamped with CROC GRAIN 16 R-L. It measures approx. 8.25" long. This would make a great, refurbishing project. I'm not a watch collector or jeweler, so I'm measuring as accurately as I can. I may be off a mm or 2. From a smoke/pet free home. FYI....I recycle shipping materials to save on costs & our only earth.
