elizabethhar253 Can any of those defects be repaired by Louis Vuitton? Real leather should never peel & crack like that so I would think they would want a chance to stand behind & fix their product. Is that what u meant when u said it needs “TLC”?

elizabethhar253 @ballofhoney I’m sorry that I offended you with my comment. What I was referring to was the way the leather trim looks pulled & flaked away enuf that the coated canvas shows thru. I personally have never seen 100% leather do that. I have seen PU leather do it so that is the only thing I was trying to understand.

ballofhoney @elizabethhar253 hi, no offense taken :) What is PU leather? This bag has been through a lot with a lot of water damage. I posted photos of the distressed shape it is in which is why I am selling it at this price or best offer.

elizabethhar253 @ballofhoney PU LEATHER is sometimes also referred to as “vegan leather” since it contains manmade chemicals instead of being made with animal products. I’m still considering your item but I’m just not sure how much life it has in it. It seems like it would not be very long as is so I would need to factor in the cost to make any repairs or rejuvenation. It looks like I wouldn’t be able to offer u enuf to make it worth your while. That’s why I wanted to know your LOWEST &$$?

elizabethhar253 @ballofhoney u could be right but that’s why I was asking so many questions???’s. I was just trying to assess if it was feasible to refurbish an older bag with new trim. It might be more cost effective to just go for one that’s hasn’t had so much life. Thank you for your time & patience. :)
