Amethyst Purple Glass Globe Vase Vintage Blown Glass

This listing is for a beautiful mulberry or amethystglass globe. This piece is hand blown glass and is striking with or without flowers. It is in excellent condition and measures 5.5” height and about 7” diameter. I’ve seen it called thumbprint glass, optic dot, optic coin, and circle dot glass. I love the deep rich purple color. I found this vase hidden in a lifetime of forgotten collectibles. The house this was in was built in the 1920s, and the gentleman that owned the house, and this piece, was an avid art collector. His home was filled with antiques and collectibles. Most were too pricey for my budget, but I did manage to purchase a few pieces. Thanks for taking a look!
