This is a fabulous Vintage Original by Caprice Black Reptile Embossed Handbag. It has a brass round, ornamental brooch type lift clasp and black leather handle. Measures 9" across at the top and bottom, 10 1/2" across the middle, 8" high, and 3" deep with a strap drop of 4". There is no material tag, but possibly faux leather from the 60's. In nice vintage condition. Interior material feels like a soft leather. Inside needs a good cleaning, and has a couple of light stains - but no rips or tears. Zipper works fine on pocket. The tag inside is detached but is inside the pocket and you could reattach. The bottom corners are VERY lightly scuffed. IMPORTANT: I take great care in inspecting and describing each item. If this is a vintage or antique item there will be some wear and signs of use as is common due to age.
