sros92 @mightyhy 🥰 The wedges are about 4" and to me, they are comfortable compared to other wedges I've had. The ankle is supported with the elastic straps, and there is a good hold on the entire foot because of the design (thick straps around the front of the foot). The only reason I'm not wearing them (and they're new) is because I had surgery on my right foot and have to wear flat shoes. There is also gentle padding on the heel, which is nice. mightyhy You are so kind and thoughtful in responding with so much detail and honesty. I had knee surgery and the highest I've worn is 3". Please let me think about this, they are absolutely beautiful! I just cannot afford tripping on this special day! ♥ ♥ ♥
