Vintage Whiting & Davis Co Bags Alumesh purse 1940s Bakelite linked handle. This is a vintage 1940s purse in great condition. The aluminum mesh (alumesh) is cream in color, as is the Bakelite hardware (linked chain handle and mouth of the purse as well as the closure) the lining is a beautiful purple color.
