Buri Bristle bear Christmas ornament

Buri Bristle animal tree ornaments are handmade from the Buri Sugar Palm Tree. The long, thick leaf fibers from this super abundant, self regenerating tree are twisted onto a wire, with the resulting round brush being hand cut into adorable animal shapes. The wires in the middle of the animal can be bent to adjust the way the animal looks or stands. The eyes, ears, nose, feet, etc. are made from seeds, pods and hand carved wooden pieces.
