This unique pendant or wall hanging is a painting by Leona Rubin (1918-1990) of Indian pottery on wood adorned with a turquoise stone. She is known for her paintings of Southwest Indian pottery & Native American wedding vessels. The pendant measures approximately 3" square, is hand signed on reverse, and hangs from a 28" ribbon. Rubin painted landscapes and was an art critic and travel writer who contributed articles to such publications as the LA Times.
