Citrine Crystal Gemstone Hoop Earrings Sterling Silver Plated Earwire Hooks

I made these citrine gemstone hoop earrings, the earwires are sterling silver plated. The hoops measure approximately 1" wide as shown in photo 4 and are approximately 2" long, including the hooks, as shown in photo 5. The pair of earrings are very lightweight weighing just 0.2 ounces combined. Citrine is one of the birthstones for November. It is a yellow variety of quartz and comes in a variety of shades ranging from transparent, pale yellow to brownish orange. These particular pieces of citrine are more on the transparent white to pale yellow side, there is a yellow-gold that shows more depending on the light, photo 2 shows this variation in color with the change to the light in the room. An interesting fact about citrine is that it comes from the French word 'citron' which means lemon. It is believed by some to be a healing crystal said to support emotional well-being and mindset, regardless it has been a popular decorative gemstone since ancient times.
