-Available is a ceramic planter featuring a black crested pink cockatoo parrot sitting on a green planter base. -Shiny glazed finish. -Measures 7.75” tall with the base being 5.5” wide. -In good vintage condition. There are no cracks or chips. A few imperfections are present in the glaze. There is slight crazing. -Bottom is primarily unglazed and shows wear consistent with age. A few areas of glazing are present. There are two areas where maybe epoxy was used to fill in some chips. Areas are now gray-colored and smooth. -No manufacturer’s mark, but bird planters like this were quite popular in the U.S. in the 1950’s. -Can be used as a small planter, a desk accessory for paper clips or rubber bands, or a retro decor piece.
