Vintage shell cross-section necklace w/ gold leaf edges

Vintage shell cross-section pendant with gold leafed edges on a goldtone chain. Necklace 18" long, shell 1-7/8" x 1". A few tiny spots of the gold leaf are missing (please see photos of edges) but it is not significant or noticeable during wear. Otherwise great vintage condition.
