A romantic handmade shoulder bag by Sylvia Kadek. Made in Martha’s Vineyard, designer Sylvia Kadek later produced her unique one of a kind purses under a new production name ‘’Sylviebags’. True vintage barkcloth in vivid unfaded colors of chartreuse yellow, rose red, sage green, black. Sage green brocade fabric trims the top and inside of outer pocket, silk twisted rope piping, antique metal button with green faceted glass cabochon and elastic closure for outer pocket. Outer pocket is the entire size of the front of the bag. Inside lining is clean black cotton with inner zippered wall pocket. Her signature rainbow metal zipper closes the entire top of the purse. In excellent condition with no fabric wear. Purchased in the early 2000’s, a prized souvenir from Martha’s Vineyard. Should straps are about 1” wide, and have a 14” drop. Top width of purse side to side 15” tapering to a bottom width of about 7-8”. Bottom depth 3.5” by about 7”. Main body height 12”. It’s bigger than it appears with lots of room inside.
