Incolay stone is made of a combination of crushed minerals such as Onyx, Malachite, Carnelian, Jade, and others to create this exquisite, piece of artwork. Each scene surrounding the jewelry box is crafted with intricate detail, in relief and captures the remembrance of village life. The inside base is lined with a black velvet material and three applied felt pads on the exterior base to prevent scratching of surfaces. Since the original company was later purchased, this is a wonderful collectible to own. It will arrive with the small, original paper insert discussing the La Vie Village and Incolay stone.
