🖤 found my old velvet docs while cleaning out my parents garage! Got these in 1996 wore them all the time in high school. True vintage with only one owner, me! The laces even though short are from the 90s too, i swapped out the dr martens laces for these when i got them. apopbat @brittanie78 hi there! There is no interior tag exactly on the tongue like the modern models have. The only information on the inside aside from the printed size on the interior sole was on the heel and tongue that has since worn away. The only remaining visible identifiers are the soles and the pull tags which are shown. I added a picture of the tongue that has very faded printing. It’s hard to make out but it’s the made in England along with the sizing and very faded model number.

apopbat @brittanie78 modern 6 or uk 6? I measured the interior just now and it’s about 9/9.5 inches. I say about because it’s shockingly hard to get an accurate measurement of the insole without tearing it out. But I will say my foot is 10 inches and my toe is touching the tip of the interior a little squished. If these still fit I would def be keeping them as the new version just isn’t the same quality or look.
