Gorgeous petite tea or coffee serving set porcelain sugar bowl & creamer pitcher cup by Wade Irish Porcelain High sought after collector pieces Iconic Raindrop pattern from 1950s/1960s, by Wade owner & designer James Borsey Was originally called "Teardop" but changed to Raindrop, which was considered more marketable Pattern consists of raised vertical flutes tapering out from top to bottom with a stunning sea blue and green glaze with hits of retro brown tones Marked "Irish Porcelain; Made in Ireland" Believe this was a very early piece from this collection as those were not signed with James Borsey's signature Open sugar bowl measures approx. 2” tall x 3.5” wide at largest points Creamer pitcher measures approx. 3” tall at highest point x 4.5” wide from handle to spout Both pieces have a 2.5” opening Amazing condition, especially considering age No knicks or chips or signs of wear I’m thinking they were probably never used as they are just too pretty.
