Vintage L’Opera convertible compact by Jacqueline Cochran is appropriate for loose or pressed powder. This item appears to have never held powder. The puff and sifter are pristine. There are two spots of tarnish inside the mirror lower right that I tried to indicate in a photo by pointing with a ruler. Other than some light age/scratching on inside bottom of box, it’s really beautiful. I see people listing ones with black ovals, but this is the only white one I have seen. I guessed on original price.
