Mele Earring Case ~ Jewelry Box ~ Vintage ~ Travel ~ 1970s or 1980s? ~ Upcycle Versatile hard-side vintage jewelry box. Brown and tan tones in an abstract, almost tortoise shell look. Interior sort of a burnt orange satin feel fabric on top and rust color felted divided section. Dividers have holes to easily store post-style pierced earrings. Case accommodates more than just earrings - see photos for examples. Case still closes with bracelets, brooches, etc. Rigid exterior makes it good for travel. Could be used to store a variety of item...some vintage pens, men's items such as cufflinks or tie tacks, some random small treasures. For a minute I thought about removing the felted section and upcycling into a clutch type item...maybe you will do that? In vintage condition, but still worthy! See last photo for rough area on the interior lid (like maybe something was pinned to it at one time?).
