doen sol dress. only worn twice. I did launder it to try to shrink it some, did not work lol. pink cotton with embroidered red polka dots, fully lined skirt. beautiful dress. Stored flat, just put on hanger for photos, no wear or flaws. Doen sizing runs large, fits more like an xs/s.

trawpical_chica @parrotqween hi, it's not stretchy but the top one is elastic (the string on the top seam is decorative, not functional, then the two seams above the waist are elastic/stretchy and the waist tie is functional so it's not stretchy but it's adjustable.

trawpical_chica @parrotqween it's sort of hard to take bc it's really pretty free size due to being adjustable and the elastic isn't the super tight kind. The actual measurements for the dress had it going from 22-35 lol Doen sizing is so confusing but if it helps my waist is a 25 and I tighten the waist quite a bit. just naturally falling from the elastic above it's about 29-30 inches, not stretched or tied.

stacysazo Did it shrink at all when you laundered it? Or does it look like when you first bought it?

trawpical_chica @stacysazo it looks exactly the same. I think they must pre-wash/shrink their fabrics before making them bc they do come very soft already and I have had no luck shrinking any of their dresses. it's still a very cute dress even being a bit looser.

trawpical_chica @stacysazo I took the pictures after I had laundered it so they show how it looks accurately. I think a professional tailer could alter it easily but I decided the look was not that flattering on me. I think it's too much dress for my height.

stacysazo @trawpical_chica ok got it! I’m usually a 2-4 but worried this would be too small. do you think it’s oversized enough to be comfy?

trawpical_chica @stacysazo I'm not sure. it's pretty stretchy but my typical size is 00 or 0 so let me get the measurements for unstressed and see if I can find the stretched ones on doen bc I don't know how to do those

trawpical_chica @stacysazo okay so it has the fully stretched measurements as 43.5 bust and 48.25 waist so there's a lot of stretch. I think the doen dresses are made fit also when people are pregnant. my measurement is 30 bust and 25 waist so it shpukd fit a wide range. my guess is the best fit is like 34-36 bust type range and waist like 26-28 for just what would look the best in my opinion
