Handmade Traditional Woven Decorated Siwan (Egyptian) Lidded basket

This is a unique handmade traditional small basket made in Siwa Oasis in Egypts Western (Sahara) Desert. I bring these pieces, made by local families, back to the US myself. Heavily decorated with both silk and synthetic fabric tassels, these lidded baskets are perfect for storing a variety of items.
