The waist is definitely more stretchy. The rest of the dress is more of that polyester silky stretch.

I'm sorry to be such a bother. Assuming the waist has elastic as Melloday dresses often do. I'm concerned about the rest of the dress. I don't like stretchy clingy dresses.

The waist does have an elastic band, but the rest of the dress really has no stretch. I can post a video soon so you can see better. If its not what you’re looking for no worries.
