This sexy sultry black taffeta evening gown is a vintage wonder. Plain in front with some amazing draping, but that back!! It has tons of volume and fabulous gores in pink and red. Topped with big bow at waist that trails down. 4 vertical stays in back. IT HAS PROBLEMS!! When picked up from dry cleaner, every seam was open. They were all machine-sewn back into place but one must have stretched, so came out with bunching (shown). Fortunately, it's mostly covered by the bow. Also, the metal zipper may need replacing. A few teeth missing but it still zips up. It was ''soaped'' for ease of zipping. An antique silk applique covers area of small fray. All in all, very reminiscent of sultry 50s singer, Julie London.
