Vintage Black Ribbon Knit Cocktail Shift Dress & Jacket Fur Cuffs Womens Size 6?

Vintage two piece, black, ribbon knit dress and jacket. There are no labels or size tags. I believe the outfit is custom or handmade. My initial thought is the outfit is from the 60s but it could be older. The dress is a sleeveless shift dress, unlined with a rear zipper. The bust measures about 36 in and the length is about 44 in. My mother tried it on and it fit her like a glove but it was too big in the bust. She said it would fit a bigger busted modern day size 6. The matching short, open jacket is fully line, and has 3/4 sleeves trimmed in a brown fur. The fur is very soft and appears to be from the weasel family but I don't think it is mink. I think it might be sable. The jacket measures about 41 in in the bust, 19 in long and the sleeves are about 18 inches. There is some deodorant or powder residue on pits of jacket. See photo. And, there is one loop on the shoulder that needs to be tacked down. Otherwise, both pieces are in incredible, vintage, pre-owned condition.
