This 1.75L whistling tea kettle from Planboden is made of stainless steel and has a copper bottom. Very nice and has a very loud whistle. Teapot has been cleaned with multiple round of vinegar and water. Love that the whistler is a cover. Remove it when it whistles to pour your hot water. Cover is not hot to the touch. COULD PROBABLY USE A GOOD CLEANING INSIDE.
