Vintage Cat Eye Glasses With Rhinestones 40s Retro Cateyes VFG

Did you know? Cateye style eyeglasses truly did start in the 40s (just watch the original ''Miracle on 34th St''). There's a way you can tell the difference and these are from that period. They are bronzy metallic BROWN, but they may look purple on your monitor. Top frames, so all needed is glass Rx or make them sunglasses. Restored, not 100% perfect. The nose pieces were made of horn back then and you may need new ones, but these aren't chipped or cracked. Bow end covers may need changing too even though they are not bent out of shape (shown) Lovely hand etching done on front & on bows. Aurora Rhinestones too. Sturdy composition By Bausch & Lomb.
