Vintage MCM Copper Turkish Coffee Pot Kettle by Coppercraft Guild, Taunton Mass

Vintage mid century modern copper Turkish coffe pot kettle made by Coppercraft Guild in Taunton, Massachusetts A functional collectible item- great for serving up coffee, tea and hot cocoa! Beautiful radiant copper with gold accents on the lid and handle mount, and a carved black wooden handle - this piece really stands out in the kitchen. Turkish coffee pots tend to have longer spouts which come up from the bottom up to the top so that coffee grounds won't be poured into the cup. This one is very structural and sculptural, with fabulous details and overall design. Made in the USA in New England in the late 1950s or 1960s - the company was founded in 1949 and existed until around 1981. The interior shows no signs of use or wear, while the exterior has some scratches and a discolored mark near the handle - I'm pretty sure these marks come from storage or bumping up against other items on display in the former owner's kitchen. It's still stunning and impactful! Definitely a desirable piece for a collector of mid century coffee pots or copper, or to decorate with in general.
