4leasure Also brenda_b_c and donald_d_l. They keep changing their user name. As fast as I write scam, they've posted more. All these $67,$68,$69. bags are a scam. If it's too good to be true, it's not. They are all someone else's pics. Buyer beware!

2shopgirls @4leasure thank you! It gives Poshmark a bad name and an awful experience for first time buyers, hence, slow sales for us hardworking, honest and legitimate Poshers! No customers, no sales! Let us keep an eye on these scammers! Shout out to all who alerted me! I will pay your kindness by paying it forward! Good Bless! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

hne12345 How sad :( so disappointing. Are the pics from here or from the group?

2shopgirls
2shopgirls @hne12345 mine and Helena that we were able to find! There’s other ones. We’re hoping other legitimate poshers and our followers can check the scammers fake closet and be able to identify any of the pics. If you do, please report them to Poshmark and also notify the legitimate owners. That’s how I found out mine were being used for scamming people!

brittbarwick I'll keep an eye out. genuinely curious, how they are scamming people if they don't get paid until the buyer receives the item and accepts it? sorry you are having to deal with this.

2shopgirls @brittbarwick hi! Somehow they found a loophole between generating a shipment label, getting the tracking number going, and buyers not accepting the sale immediately after 3 days of delivery notification. Whatever they send the buyers or excuse why there’s no actual delivery is heartbreaking! I know they’re not getting what I have posted cause I have the actual purses in my possession. They’re smart and cunning! 🤬

nejjen15
nejjen15 hi I also was scammed. I purchased one bag. Was reported as delivered in my mailbox but when I looked, nothing was there. I called post office. They said address and name associated with tracking number doesn’t match the name and address listed on package so they wouldn’t deliver it to me. It has been delivered back to the seller. I have messaged Poshmark EIGHT times including every detail even post office phone number but have heard NOTHING

2shopgirls @brittbarwick click on the p_ac_hadlu scammer site and go to his meet the posher comments… you’ll see a lot of people who got scammed comments in there! It is sad and infuriating🤬 I can’t add anymore comments in there cause they blocked me!

2shopgirls From @ivanmurkovic “I was a victim of Poshmark seller Austin ( p_ac_hadlu) who listed multiples of the same Brahmin bags for sale and created a false USPS label. The handbag never reached me because the seller purposely mislabeled the package and it "automatically routed back to the seller" ( a USPS felony). Poshmark charged me immediately “

2shopgirls Continued @ivanmurkovic …”Since I was new to Poshmark I had no idea that scam sellers operate on their site/ create false USPS labels. Complaints to Poshmark about theis scam were waved off.”

patsyshops
patsyshops @2shopgirls I didn’t know about this scam until your post. First, thank you for making us aware! Second, as a buyer how do we protect ourselves from this? I have bought several Brahmin bags on Poshmark and have been lucky. How do I know it’s legit next time? Thank you again for sharing. I’m so sorry for those who been scammed… that’s a lot of money to lose and very disheartening.

2shopgirls @patsyshops Hi! As a fellow posher and also a buyer, I look and read the “Love Notes”, Meet the Posher comments, the items they are selling, the quality, brands and prices, etc! I do my homework— when an item and price is ‘Too good to be True’, then that should be a red flag! Keep looking, ask questions, and trust your instincts! Hope that helps🙏🏼😃

patsyshops
patsyshops @2shopgirls OK. thank you for the feedback! It’s discouraging that Poshmark has not supported you.
Jul 02Reply
2shopgirls
2shopgirls @patsyshops oh, they have… just slow taking down the other sites and multiple emails! It’s the other buyers that got scammed and bought the fake items that are still dealing with unresolved refunds.

brittbarwick
brittbarwick thanks for the info. I had no idea. I haven't sold a lot on here but two people on different items commented that my pictures are blurry and to please send clear photos to their e mail in their bio. I have an s23 ultra with a 200 megapixel camera, it literally doesn't take blurry photos. I never did because it just seemed shady. you would think they would ask me to upload clear photos not email them. Has anyone heard of a scam being done that way? Or is not weird wanting photos emailed?

2shopgirls
2shopgirls @brittbarwick I naively did send extra pic on the email they mentioned when I first started here! I did not know! I clicked spam now every time I get messages like that. I also put watermarks on my expensive items now. It’s a shame that we work hard and scammers just want the easy money. So… be careful!

jeepypooh
jeepypooh I think I just found one. I bought a purse and had it delivered. I see the exact same listing for a lot more money listed by someone else. Look for “Gorgeous Bag- Not a Brahman” for $70. That’s the bogus one, I think.

jeepypooh
jeepypooh After further thought, I think maybe the seller that I bought from used pictures from the listing that I thought was bogus. I received the same bag as in the pictures, so I guess my experience was ok. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will be more careful in the future.
