This bag is very well worn and needs some TLC. It’s a beautiful bag, but the leather has some dark spots that I tried to capture in the along with a stain on the inside lining. If you are someone that is good with leather reworking or cleaning, this is an amazing find because it’s a great bag. I just don’t know what to do with it.

punkkitten19 @redsalta Do you know what the stain is on the leather? Food? oil? Perspiration? (and not judging - I do like to refurbish leather goods and some stains/marks are easier to get out over others)

redsalta @punkkitten19 hi there 😊. Honestly I have no idea! I am 99.9% sure it is not cooking oil. (It is definitely not perspiration). My guess is that it is either some sort of cleaning solution that leaked during a move or (more likely) lotion or cream.

punkkitten19 @redsalta Thanks for the reply! Sometimes a bath and a reconditioning can lessen this. Old School Rebecca minkoff leathers were beautiful and could really stand the rest of time. And the bag looks the same back to front - which is a plus!
