This is a vintage black shiny plastic Barbie Wardrobe case. I believe it may be called “Country Fair”, but I am not positive. It is over 50 years old and is in very nice condition. The biggest issue is that the metal frame is a bit bent, probably due to some other item being stored on top of the case. As such, when the clasp/buckle is locked it has a snall gap. See photos with arrows. There are some scuffs/scratches on the plastic (inspect photos) but no tears. There 3 cardboard boxes to hold Barbie’s and Ken’s accessories. (Hmmm… that got me to wondering whether they were living together in the 60’s). There are two very minor stains, one in Ken’s accessory box and the other in the corner cardboard shelf above Barbie’s accessory boxes. The inside is a flowery vinyl. The red strap clips to each side and releases to hold Barbie in her case. There are metal rails affixed at the top to hang Barbie’s cothes. The case is clean, without smell, no mold, no tears, handle intact. I was the only owner if this case and did not enjoy playing with dolls, so I did not use the case mych except for Barbie storage. If you are into Barbie but wish to use this for something other that doll clothers, you can hang necklaces from the metal rails and store earrings in the boxes. Stored in my nonsmoking home.
