This dress is so pretty, I can't believe it. 1940's blue/purple lace and tulle party dress with matching shoes, belt, and gloves. In original box from Strawbridges and Clothier "the Philadelphia shop". This dress is two pieces. The outside is lace and tulle with a fun tulle neckline and gorgeous covered buttons. The inside slip is a satin material with tulle straps. Both the inside slip and lace dress have metal zippers. Comes with a matching belt and shoes. The shoes are a matching blue lace. The internal sole says "exquisites". Also comes with little tulle half gloves with a little velvet cream colored bows at the wrist. These have been in storage for a very long time. The dress is in very good condition. There is some color fading on the slip which gives it a ombre color. The belt has a classic buckle and sewn on snap to keep the tail from flapping. It's a little stiff in its old age. The shoes have some wear on the soles and the internal insert is very stiff and would likely need to be replaced if you intend on wearing them. The box has a tear on the corner at one of the flaps. Measurements: I'd call this an xs or s. There isn't a size tag so please see measurements for best idea of fit. Dress: Waist 13.5" Bust 16" Length 49" Slip: Waist 13.5" Bust 15" Length 42" from Bust Shoes: There isn't a size on these but I think they're likely a 5 or 5.5. They measure about 9 1/4 from toe to heel and the heel height is 3 inches. Belt: 27" long all around
