Striped Delight. This is a stunning vintage Catherine Ogust cotton caftan dress from the 70s, or early 80s, designed for Penthouse Gallery in California.
Crafted from buttery soft 100% cotton, this caftan shirtdress features a 1” mandarin collar and vertical thin-and-thick blue-and-white hued stripes down the its right-side and arm sleeve. Two roomy side pockets.
Other meticulously thoughtful details include: knotted button closures along the tunic’s front center panel and the designer’s name, handwritten print, subtly intermixed among the stripes. 3/4-length sleeves make the dress even more versatile between seasons and occasions.
In excellent vintage condition, no visible flaws. This is a special piece — a gorgeous dress to keep forever.
