He’s sitting there posing cooler than cool when his picture is being taken. An Art Deco sepia tone photo under original glass and antique wooden frame, it’s in very good antique condition. I believe this is from the 1940s by the looks of the frame and quality of the photo. The actual photo itself is professionally mounted on cardboard. The backing of the frame is a dark, maroon, velvety cardboard material that stands on an easel. There is also little round hooks for hanging. The cat or feline has gold eyes and appears to be wearing a rhinestone collar. I love that someone cared enough and loved their cat to pay the ‘big bucks’ for the studio portrait. This was my mother’s and I remember we found it in an antique store in Massachusetts about 25 years ago. She had a black cat at the time named Moochie. These old pet portraits are very rare and hard to find - this one is in especially good condition. 9” x 11” overall. What you see is what you get, and how we’ve always had it. From a smoke free home.
