Amethyst & Purple Topaz Necklace in Sterling Silver 925 w/ Front Toggle Clasp

This gorgeous necklace is surely vintage by now, as I've owned it for over 20 years and found it and a little antique shop in Estes Park, CO. It is shimmering with purple crystals and sterling silver spacers. Necklace closes in the front with a toggle clasp (marked 925). Pendant is a sterling silver encased, heart shaped amethyst surrounded by silver beads, adding texture and flair. The stone itself measures exactly 1cm wide and 1cm tall. The sterling heart measures 1/2" x 1/2". Necklace length is 17". The large amethyst has an occlusion or perhaps it's a scratch, but it does not take away from the beauty of the piece in any way! The backside of the pendant has a small hoop at the bottom (pictured), which I have no idea what use it serves (if you know, please let me know in the comments!)
