N.S. GUSTIN Vintage 1950's Large "Mouse Eating a Cookie" Cookie Jar

This treasure is a rare, hard to find cookie jar made in the 1950's in the USA by N. S. Gustin of Los Angeles Pottery. This item is in excellent condition with two flea bites (see photos). The mouse is holding a cookie with a bite taken out of it, wearing blue denim jeans. There is a pile of cookies on his left side. The LA Pottery company operated from 1940 to 1970. Their ceramic molds were sold when they closed, making the pieces very hard to find. The cookie jar is is an ivory-beige color with blues, tans and brown. He is 10 inches tall, 23 inches around, inside without head 8 inches tall.
