Cute little collectible Fashion Boot cologne bottle by Avon from 1972. Porcelain baby blue boot with a purple pin cushion top. The little purple velvet bow has been stored folded, but I have replaced it back into its box correctly, so, in time, it should flatten back out. There are a few places where the pin cushion has been dented, but overall, it’s in terrific vintage condition. Sounds like it is almost full of the Sonnet cologne.
Will ship in original box, unless buyer states otherwise. Seems like it may have spilled at some time, or the bottom of the box got wet. It has liquid damage. Please look closely at all pictures.

@whlrman Hey! So sorry it’s taken a few days to reply! We’re good. We were under a flash flood warning for about 3 days, but thankfully, never flooded. We did get between 3-5 inches of rain in a very short time though. Tree limbs everywhere, but I feel very blessed. The power was out all around us within a mile or so for several days, but we had power🙏🏻

@whlrman My nephew lives in Asheville and his in-laws came through Charlotte from Raleigh and got them after a few days. They’re staying with them. I think their house is okay, but idk when they’ll be able to go back.

@whlrman My childhood best friend also lives in Asheville and a tree fell across her entire house. She’s staying with her parents, but is having difficulty getting help to remove the tree to save her belongings. But, they’re safe!

@whlrman And an old friend of my family had a mountain home, along with his wife. She left the night bed to go back to their regular home and it took her a really long time to get out. He made it up there after the hurricane and not only is his house completely gone, but so is his land. It’s completely in the river now😢 His wife probably wouldn’t have made it out alive if she hadn’t left the night before. It’s just so heartbreaking down here right now.

@whlrman You really have to see the news on social media from first hand reports to even begin to understand the devastation. I know so many of those places really well from my childhood, and some of them have been wiped away like they never existed. I’m sure the death toll just in western NC will be in the hundreds. It’s so sad.

@chrismbc wow that’s so awful to hear. Plus I hear most didn’t even have flood insurance downs there. So they lost everything. So sad. But glad to hear you all are safe🙏. Yeah, there’s never been any major flooding there before. And nothing ever like that. My dad’s friend whose house is gone and land is under the river, had flood ins, but there’s a 10k deductible and no land left😢

@whlrman Rescuers on the ground are saying there’s more than 2000 dead, just in that area. Three days ago one community had used 500 body bags and said they were pulling bodies out of houses every hour. News isn’t reporting how bad it is. There’s something much greater going on which most ppl don’t know about, but our government is evil. It’s incredibly sad.

@whlrman Nope. I was just in pain🤨 This house has mold somewhere and it’s been making me very sick. Woke up with a migraine Thursday, gastritis Friday andwith what was left of my migraine; Another small migraine yesterday and what was leftover of my gastritis. Only a small amount of pain in my head when I woke up today, finally, and the pressure is almost entirely gone, yay!

@whlrman I only slept about two hours due to the first migraine, one hour with the gastritis, and finally about 5-1/2 to 6 hours last night. I’m trying to figure out how to get the house tested and get out of here. Not a good time at all😭

@chrismbc my weekend was ok thanks. So far weather has been mild but it’s creating dangerous wildfire situations. Right now there are 50 in our state and one 1 very large one in our town. Crazy world 🤷♂️.

@chrismbc thanks for checking in 😊. So far so good for me. However, a tree fell and took out my power lines. No power for 2 days and lost everything in my freezer 😩. They gave me temp power and need to replace the lines. Just got down to my moms for thanksgiving to help out. Do you have any plans for turkey day?

I lost all of my frozen food a few weeks ago, but that was my fault because I didn’t catch the ice maker messing up in the freezer until it was too late🤦♀️ I was upset about losing some bread, salmon and broccoli, but, honestly, I probably needed to purge everything else anyway

Don’t ask, because no one in my family can figure out what she’s doing. @chrismbc Im so glad to hear you had a good weekend 😊. Probably won’t be done until the fall, maybe late summer. I don’t mind the cold, but the amount of days it has been snowing is an issue. Won’t be good if we spend most of our time cleaning off the house deck. Plus the day light is so short. Looks like it might be real cold this winter which will slow us down. Plus I think it’s just me and the builder working lol. If it is too snowy we may not get much done until March.

@chrismbc the nice thing is it abuts over 1000 acre state forest. So it’s nice and quiet. Lots to explore. Haha I like Oreos …double stuff 😂. He’s actually my ex brother-in-law. He has a camp next to me in NH. I’m still friendly with him. His wife works for Penske racing. He travels for his job so he can work from anywhere. I’ll probably come down to visit them eventually

@whlrman We have some toxic air getting in here, but, interestingly, I’m feeling much better now that the A/C is off. I found an article that says that a few people can be allergic to the chemicals used in A/C. With my chemical allergies, it wouldn’t surprise me. If Keegan and I didn’t have Raynaud’s, I’d move up there to escape the summer heat down here.

I don’t know how it doesn’t affect everyone else, but our bodies are not happy☹️ It’s scary how no one notices, because I’m sure it’s still damaging their bodies. They knew each other from high school days. He really moved there because she works for Roger Penske racing and they don’t allow people to work remote.

@chrismbc ac chemicals? I think that’s a myth. Ac compressors are outside the home. Most run on electric and the only thing in them is refrigerant. What can be an issue is the filters used. Dust and mold can build up in the trunks and hoses throughout the home. So when they kick on they blow those pollutants into your home. Most people don’t even change their filters. I know this because my uncle is in the hvac biz.

@whlrman Seriously😩 I actually had an anaphylactic reaction to some chemical that was in the air, as I was driving to see my family, while going about 75mph. It was scary. Once we got out of that area, Keegan and I suffered from inflammation of our brains until around 10pm.

@whlrman So, good news is I got to see my niece who’s in the Air Force, for the first time in 6 yrs. I got to meet my future sister-in-law and nephew-in-law, and spend time with my dad😊 Bad news is, we were in pain and struggling to carry on conversations until late last night. @whlrman Yeah, I need to find a way to live out in the country. It was really great seeing the family that was there. First time I’ve seen my dad in a year, my brother in 2yrs, and my niece in 6. I really do like Mari and Nico (her 15yr old son)☺️ They seem really nice, like they’ve always been there. My brother looks very happy. I’m looking forward to getting to know them better. The wedding is May 17th. My stepdaughter is getting married next December. And I’ll be a great-aunt in Feb😊

@whlrman I miss seeing my dad. I think he really enjoyed us being there. My aunt (his only sibling) had several TIA strokes on both sides of her brain yesterday morning. She was able to walk today and she recognizes everyone, but is having difficulty talking. My poor dad lost my mom and had his heart attack in Dec. Now his sister too🥺 Hopefully she’ll get good therapy and there won’t be a lot of damage 🙏🏻
