It’s unlined full grain leather. The bag has normal wear around the edge’s for a bag of its age. Coach.com says they manufactured this style starting in 1999. This is a classic well crafted leather Coach that will last forever. The leather on the true vintage bags is full-grain leather, which is the best of the best, so it is very thick and durable. It tends to have natural scars and wrinkles and striations, and "full-grain" means that these "flaws" in the top layer of the leather were not shaven off or removed.
