Strange Overly Sequinned Black Vintage Cocktail Dress Handsewn? Small ODD Beaded

Previously Owned BLACK SEQUINNED DRESS. Not sure what to think about this dress, it definitely has A LOT of sequins!! It appears to be Handsewn, based on the inside odd seam work, the black piping under bodice is a bit uneven and the crazy amount of sequins! But yet, there are some small areas with no sequins at all!! There is some beading on front bodice area as well as front bottom area, but everything else is covered in Black Sequins. Not sure what era this dress would have been made, but the back has a metal zipper. There are no Tags in it, but yet someone took the time to sew in those looped strings that are used to hang on hanger. Base on measurements, I would guess this to be a SIZE SMALL. PLEASE NOTE!!! This dress is CRAZILY adorned with sequins, but yet there are small areas that have no sequins. Also has that 'old house' smell, but I just sprayed it with fabric refresher.
