Vicki Bardon is a Canadian designer from Nova Scotia, famous 4 the beauty & quality of her quilting.
This rare set from the early 1980’s epitomizes her reputation.
Pictures show the exquisite choice of the colours: dominant is a rare shade of royal blue like the seas around coral reef islands. The quilted work on the lower part of the skirt reminds one of a lagoon viewed from the sky w/many shades of blue & touches of purple & green. Hues vary with light (see featured collage).
Both are same fabric nature: hand washable, 100 percent cotton

Shirt washed more often than skirt because it was well liked, the inside of the collar has slight discolouration at the crease (you do not see it when you wear it but it is a flaw, nevertheless). Also slight sign of wear.
Set priced accordingly. When pricing, saw only I similar skirt (no shirt) of the same era as this 1 but not as nice, price was $173!
