70s vintage Oscar de la Renta Crochet Knit Rose Skirt Set RARE VINTAGE DESIGNER

For vintage knitwear lovers ~ RARE Designer Oscar de la Renta 1970's does 1930's/40’s dusty rose crocheted knit two piece set with outstanding detailing. The luxurious cotton silk blend hugs the body beautifully. The top has a rose pattern on its bodice, which is made up of different crochet type. The handkerchief edged angel sleeves and peplum are a webbed/net crochet with delicate chain stitching at the edges. The sleeves are also gathered & puffed at the shoulders. A subtle sheen can be seen throughout the sleeve and peplum. There is a delicate drawstring woven into the waist for cinching. You can also leave it slack to give a dropped waist appearance. The A-line simple knit skirt has a wide elasticized waistband and a delicately crocheted trim at the hem. Both pieces have no closures and slip on. Truly Incredible and hard to find, hand made craftsmanship with no noticeable flaws. There is a little yellowing on the label. It is a rare set that has been cherished by me for years, but not worn. I’ve admired the details and feel grateful to have had this in my possession. It’s time for someone new to enjoy, and hopefully to wear! 💗 Top is labeled size 4 and it has a great amount of stretch. Skirt is labeled size 4 and has some stretch.
