Gorgeous wood! I remember when people bought nuts still in shells to snack on! Great mid century carved wood giant walnut with hinged lid and places inside to hold nut picks and to crush them. Measures about 10” long, 6.75” wide and 8” tall. Includes original mallet. Scratches, rub wear, nothing more than to be expected from something well used and 60ish years old. The crack you see on the mallet is more of a superficial chip waiting to happen but is not going to compromise the strength of the mallet. Please see all photos carefully for condition.
